Welcome to the JAH Web Development Summer 2010 newsletter!
As many of you will already know, I've recently returned from a long-overdue 2 week break in Tenerife. I am pleased to say that the entire family had a great time and there were no disasters to deal with whilst I was over there so I've come back to work stress-free, refreshed and raring to go!

New Additions to Portfolio
Bluefin Media offer comprehensive services in video, animation, photography, web development and print & mail. Developed by JAH WD, the Bluefin Media website features custom-built Flash menus and a healthy dose of video and animated banners.
Another proud addition to our portfolio is a new website for a local charity - Asthma Relief. The Asthma Relief Charity, based in Swindon and established in 1997, offers support to people with all types of breathing difficulties and donates nebulisers to hospitals, doctor's surgeries and other institutions or individuals who require them.

New Service - Intranet Development
We recently developed an Intranet site for one of our clients, and the project was a great success. After building a fully content-managed website for them, we installed it on their own internal server so that it could be easily accessed by all staff within the organisation but at the same time, it was not publicly visible on the World Wide Web.
This allowed the company to share sensitive and internal information/content with all their staff and it also provided a virtual notice board that everyone could check as soon as they logged into their computer each morning. After just a few hours training, our client was able to administer and maintain the Intranet site themselves.
